On the other hand, the BSE POWER has moved up from 1,443 to 2,495, registering a gain of 1,052 points (up 72.4%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are POWER GRID (up 3.3%), NTPC (up 2.8%) and ITC (up 2.8%). Other gainers include HUL (up 2.6%) and HCL TECHNOLOGIES (up 1.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ITC and NTPC.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 14,643 . The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include POWER GRID (up 3.4%), NTPC (up 3.1%) and HUL (up 2.6%). Other gainers include ITC (up 2.5%) and COAL INDIA (up 1.9%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 30,579 to 49,538, registering a gain of 18,959 points (up 61.22%).
NHPC net profit down at Rs 3 billion for the quarter ended March 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 4 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 6.6% to Rs 19.1 billion during the period as against Rs 18.0 billion in January-March 2019.
For the year ended March 2018, NHPC reported 26.1% decrease in net profit to Rs 20.4 billion compared to net profit of Rs 27.6 billion during FY17.
Revenue of the company grew 10.1% to Rs 78 billion during FY18.
The current Price to earnings ratio of NHPC, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 9.7x.
