Celcom, Digi, Maxis agree to cooperate on fibre backhaul

The Malaysian operators Celcom Axiata, Digi and Maxis announced a definitive agreement to jointly develop and share fibre infrastructure. The cooperation is expected to accelerate the number of base stations connected to fibre backhaul in the country, improve 4G services for customers and support the roll-out of 5G networks.
