Hyderabad: Constable of Bahadurpura booked for drunk driving

Hyderabad: A police constable officer from the Bahadurpura police station has been booked for drunk driving and nuisance on the road, except that he had a fight with the police here on Friday with Vanasthalipuram.

The constable, identified as R. Arun (27), a resident of Malakpet, undertook a long drive towards the Deer Park in Vanasthalipuram, where he quarreled with some transgender people in an argument in an incident of road rage.

Upon receiving information, Vanasthalipuram’s patrol car reached the point and Arun allegedly fought with them in a weakened state.

He was sent to the traffic police station, Vanasthalipuram, for a breathalyzer test, where he was found drunk.

Vanasthalipuram Police have been discussing and investigating a case under the IPC and Motor Vehicles Act.
