CHENNAI: Chennai will host the third edition of ‘The Conscious Market’, a two-day vegan festival, this weekend.
“This time we have more than 40 stalls, which will be selling a host of vegan food products, packed and ready to eat, as well as some vegan clothes and beauty products,” said Dhaval Chandarana, who organises the event along with Shweta Agarwal.
The Conscious Market will be held at the central atrium of the Express Avenue Mall on March 20 and 21, from 11am to 9pm.
Some of the participants featured have been regulars at the market. They include Millie Mitra from Bengaluru, who will be showcasing her products -- vegan cheese spreads as well as hard wheels. The cheese spreads are made of soy and cashew and the wheels out of just cashew.
“There will also be music performances by local artists. And the highlight of the event is that it will feature Puducherry-based medical clown Fife,” says Chandarana.
