When you don't have a daily job, and inadvertently find yourself rotting, not going to the gym, not taking care of yourself etc. How do you snap out of it?
Currently in a similar predicament. Not even doing work (that I'm getting paid for) on time.

I know the phucking feel man.
I stay awake all night not really accomplishing anything... I sleep around 6/7 AM and wake up at 1/2 AM, half the day is already over.
I then continue to rot throughout the afternoon, trying to fix myself some food and generally not doing much else. Sometimes I eat and sleep for another couple of hours.
Evenings just fly by because I don't really have a plan of action and keep playing video games or whatever. Before you know it... it's like 1 AM and I'm in that state where I can't really work but can't sleep either.
Thinking of just taking some phucking caffeine and brute forcing through a day without sleeping so that I can get my clock in order. Need to get a routine soon, this is not good.∫ іяс сязш ∫ | RIP Ingenioso :'( | RIP CJ | RIP Aziz.

Sit down and write out a week that involves basically no rotting, then make yourself follow through with it. Sometimes you have to kick your own ass. At least you realize you need to change your habits so that’s a good start. Once you get your momentum going it’s easy to maintain, it’s just difficult to get the ball rolling once you let it completely stop. At least you’re ready to change in the spring...this is basically the unofficial “stop rotting and get your ass in gear” time.

Supplement with vitamin D and a multi to make sure you don't have any nutrient deficiencies.
Start the day off with easy tasks that will give you a sense of accomplishment. Make your bed, do some pushups/air squats, do 5 minutes of yoga.
Make sure to spend some time outside every day. It can be a simple as taking a 15-minute walk. Bonus point if you do this when the sun is out.
Choose a couple of easy goals that have progression or are short-term. Break them down into steps that can easily be accomplished every day. The goal is to have activities that give you a sense of accomplishment every day. The timespan should be around 2-4 weeks so you don't burn out on them. The aim is to build positive habits, which means they should be very easy.
Examples would be, write in a journal twice a week for a month. Exercise for a minimum of 10 minutes a day 3 times a week. Go for a walk every day. Read a book for 30 minutes before you go to bed. Neg a spamming alt every day. Make your bed every day for 2 weeks. Spend 30 minutes learning a new skill every day for a month and then look at the progress you've made. Every day do something nice/show gratitude to another person every day.
You can do more if you want, but the goal is consistency over time. You don't want to spend all day doing an activity just to burn yourself out because you don't feel like progress is being made. 30 minutes a day for 16 days is much better than 8 hours in a single day.
