Chennai: ‘Thala’ Ajith, a superstar from Tamil films, took a ride in a car rickshaw through Chennai and surprised his fans. The star, often praised for his simplicity, walked around the city without making much fuss about it.
Fans of Ajith, however, reveal that the superstar took the car ride as part of the promotion of his movie, Valimai, which was much awaited.
Ajith, who spends a lot of time making a film, has a huge fan following his films and new releases, even though it averages one or two years.
According to sources from the Tamil film industry, the producer of the film, Boney Kapoor, said that the first appearance of the film will be released on May 1st.
The film is directed by Tamil director Vinoth and the music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
The film created a frenzy in the Tamil film industry. Even the prime minister of Tamil Nadu, Edappady K Palanisamy, has been asked by fans in different parts of the state when the film will appear.
