Past reports have been pretty suggestive in pointing out the uncertain future of the LG Rollable. However, nothing is set in stone as the company itself hasn’t confirmed these reports yet. Well, LG didn’t deny them even. But something has emerged today that indicates the plans of launching the Rollable phone aren’t doomed, after all.

LG’s Rollable smartphone has recently been certified by the Bluetooth SIG and the listing not only confirms the phone’s existence but also poses as a great hint at an imminent launch.

The Bluetooth SIG clearly mentions the name and model – “LG Rollable” and LM-R910N of the device. Another valuable piece of information to mention here is Bluetooth 5.2 support.

There are no other details in the certification but we do know a lot more about the device already, thanks to its conceptual introduction that LG offered back at the CES 2021 stage.

While the listing indicates a near launch, a past rumor had suggested that LG has delayed the launch of its Rollable phone from Q1 2021 to Q3 2021 due to production delays. So, at least, its existence has been confirmed by the Bluetooth SIG listing, if not the launch, which is still good.

It should be noted that LG might not have stood up before to clear the air but by throwing the phone to the certification process, it has kind of given a cutting retort to all those conflicting reports.
