MUMBAI: Amid rapidly rising cases of coronavirus infections in
Maharashtra, the state government on Friday rolled out new guidelines.
According to the new guidelines, all drama theatres and auditoriums in the state will operate on 50% capacity and no entry will be allowed without proper wearing of masks.

Theatres and auditoriums will not be used for cultural and political events.
If found violating the norms, the premises will be shut down till the time Covid-19 is notified as a disaster by the Centre.
While the private offices have been asked to function at a 50% capacity, the govt has asked the department heads of government and semi-government offices to decide on the required number of staff.
However, manufacturing sector can function at 100% capacity.
