Telenor Norway reaches 200,000 5G-compatible smartphones on its network

Telenor Norway said there are now 200,000 5G handsets using its network. So far, the operator has 5G base stations in Kongsberg, Trondheim, Elverum, Bodo, Fornebu, Kvitfjell, Svalbard/Longyearbyen, Oslo, Askvoll/Flokeneset, Bergen and Stavanger. Every location that currently has 4G service will get 5G by the end of 2024, and an average of 3,500 more people per day will get 5G access in the next two years.
