Athletic powerhouse adidas has re-imagined its Adizero Adios sneakers.
This week, the brand will drop an updated version of the Adizero Adios Pro. To bring the shoe to life, adidas revealed that it joined forces with several world renowned athletes, including Joyciline Jepkosgei and Rhonex Kipruto, creating a product that challenged “everything we knew about bending stiffness, energy return, mass reduction and design geometry to optimize running economy for faster, longer runs.”
As a result, the Adizero Adios Pro was born. The shoe’s Celermesh uppers were created to provide flexibility, breathability and lightweight support. Furthermore, the midsole is equipped with carbon infused rods, a carbon heel plate and proprietary Lightstrike Pro foam with the brand promising it will deliver “a smooth, snappy transition and optimized cushioning.”

The carbon-infused rods also limit energy loss. The shoe is then finalized with Lightstrike Pro, which is a light foam that stores and returns energy.
As for looks, the Adizero Adios Pro comes in a vibrant screaming orange, cloud white and core black colorway. The shoe coral hue is seen at the upper with a neon yellow detail at the midsole. The rest of the midsole is white and the outsole is black.
Sam Handy, adidas Running’s design VP, said the new shoe “is our pinnacle race product.”
“adidas has 70 years’ experience of working with elite athletes on shoes designed to win races. Our expertise has continually evolved as athletes and sports science has progressed,” Handy said. “This shoe is our pinnacle race product, representing all those decades of dedication, experience and collaboration.”
The adidas Adizero Adios Pro Shoes will be available for $200 on Thursday at adidas.com.
