Indian Navy Tradesman exam postponed in Mumbai due to surge in Covid cases

NEW DELHI: Indian Navy has postponed the Indian Navy Tradesman examination scheduled at all examination centers of Mumbai due to the surge in covid cases and travel restrictions.

Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be held between March 20 to 22, which has now been postponed to an undetermined date. Indian Navy will announce the fresh dates of the Indian Navy Tradesman examination in due course. Candidates should note that the admit cards issued since March 13 are also cancelled.

The information in this regard available on the official website reads "INCET-TMM-01/2021 examination scheduled at all Examination centers of Mumbai from 20-22 Mar 21 has been postponed view surge in Covid Cases & associated Travel Restrictions. Admit Cards indicating Examination city as 'Mumbai' issued since 13 Mar 21 stands cancelled. Fresh examination scheduled will be promulgated in due course."


The Tradesman Mate examination (except Mumbai centre) will be conducted from March 20 to 22, 2021. The Indian Navy Tradesman admit card will be released on March 13.

Indian Navy is conducting this recruitment drive to fill up the post of 'Tradesman Mate' classified as Group 'C', non-gazetted 'Industrial' at various Commands.
