Noney: Blacktopping work begins

Noney, March 17 2021: Under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), blacktopping work from NH-37 (Noney) to Nongnang-II & Part-I began today.

The work is being executed under the funding of the Ministry of Rural Development.

It is reported that the work was supposed to be completed by August 14, 2020, but delayed due to Covid-19 pandemic.

The village and CSOs' leaders urged the contractor/work agency concerned to maintain quality in repairing the road.

They thanked the Centre and the State Government for taking up the developmental project in their area.
