Hyderabad: State-run startup incubator WE HUB on Thursday announced its partnership with Bolton University, one of the largest educational institutions in the UK.
A Memorandum of Association (MoU) has been signed between Deepti Ravula, CEO of WE Hub and Kondal Reddy Kandadi, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, University of Bolton, in the presence of IT Minister KT Rama Rao.
The initiative aims to increase the scope of the new businesses developed in the United Kingdom (UK) and introduce women entrepreneurs to the UK markets. Through the new partnership, communication with relevant players for both parties can be opened for future cooperation.
The partnership will also focus on industry development through policy interventions to encourage and support women entrepreneurs and business leaders.
Lord Tariq Ahmed of Wimbledon, UK Secretary of State for the Commonwealth, the United Nations and South Asia, spoke to selected entrepreneurs at WE Hub today. He addressed them and the WE Hub team on how innovation opens doors around the world and breaks down barriers, even when the world tells you you can not do anything.
The selected companies will have access to evaluate their business growth opportunities, market understanding and access to customers in the UK. They will also benefit from both ecosystems enabling them to rapidly globalize their innovations.
