In the movie ‘Chavu Kaburu Challaga’Amani is playing the role of mother for the Young hero Karthikeyan. In the pre-release ceremony she hugged bunny warmly on stage. She disclosed that she is a huge fan of bunny and told that she very fond of his dances, style and fights which are new and unique. Amani, who saw the bunny at movie pre-release  ceremony, was hoping to take a selfie. While her children are also fond of bunny, he wanted to show the photo and make them happy. However, bunny praised her on stage as a great actress which was delightful to her. She said that she would play any role as a mother and aunt to bunny in the future given a chance.
As far as her career is concerned, she is a well-known actress with films like ‘Shubhalagnam’ and ‘Mavichiguru. ’ Her roles in the 90s are still remembered by everyone. She is well known for wife characters.  The films ‘Shubhalagnam’ aamani and Jagapathibabu combination have rewrote the history. Her performance in the film is unforgettable.
