The NY/NJ area is like a third world country. I understand if say Somalia, is a chithole because they're poor. NY/NJ is one of wealthiest areas in the world though and is still a chithole. The only explanation I can think of for why it's so chit is the mafia.
I was watching this show called Gomorrah and southern Italy straight up looks like Somalia. The Italians came to USA and turned their part into Italy.
