JEE Main March Exam Day 3 2021 HIGHLIGHTS: The candidates who have appeared in the forenoon session reviewed the paper as moderately difficult with some questions being difficult, lengthy to attempt.

JEE Main March Exam Day 3 2021 HIGHLIGHTS: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main March session was concluded on March 18. The candidates who have appeared in the forenoon, afternoon sessions reviewed the paper as moderately difficult with some questions being difficult, lengthy to attempt.

Meanwhile, both on day one and two, the paper was reviewed as difficult, with the maths portion being tough to solve. The students have found the physics and chemistry sections easy.

The engineering entrance exam is being held in two sessions – morning (9 am- 12 noon) and afternoon (3-6) pm. A slight change in the paper has been introduced considering Covid-19 situations. The candidates have to attempt 75 questions out of 90 or 25 out of 30 questions in each section of chemistry, physics and maths.

Those who do not get desired marks in the February or March attempts can apply for the exam in April and May. The rank list will be declared after all four attempts are held. On the basis of the score in JEE Main, JEE Advanced will be held once a year.

Expert's take on JEE Main

Ramesh Batlish, head, FIITJEE Noida said, “The paper is tougher as compared to papers conducted in February. Students mostly reviewed the paper as balanced, with questions covered chapters of classes 11, 12, NCERT.”

Section wise analysis: Maths 

According to candidates, the questions were asked from chapters majorly calculus and algebra. The weightage was given to vectors, matrices, probability, 3D geometry, complex numbers in algebra.

How was the paper? 

The morning session was reviewed as moderately difficult. As per response shared with FIITJEE, the candidates analysed the difficulty level of maths was high, while questions in chemistry, physics found to be easy.

Forenoon session concludes 

The forenoon session of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main March session day 2 has been concluded.  The afternoon shift will commence from 3 pm.  Check paper analysis, candidates' reactions.

JEE Main March Exam Day 3 HIGHLIGHTS: A total of 5.79 lakh (5,79,759) candidates registered to appear JEE Main in the English language, while a total of 19,497 candidates will attempt the paper in Hindi.

The exam centres are there in 334 cities including 12 cities outside India in Baharain, Colombo, Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu, Kualalumpur, Lagos, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, Singapore, and Kuwait.
