Soni Razdan says COVID-19 vaccination should be made available for actors as they can’t wear mask
Alia Bhatt’s mother Soni Razdan speaks on how COVID-19 vaccination should be made available for actors as they can’t wear masks on the sets of the film.

Soni Razdan recently reacted to a tweet that asked the Government to allow everyone to get vaccines. According to her, it should be made available to the actors as well as they actually cannot wear masks.
The surge in COVID-19 cases in India in the past few days is probably hinting at a second wave of the deadly virus.
She demanded vaccination for all working actors as they are the only people who cannot wear masks and other protection when they are on the field. She reasons why actors need vaccines. Take a look at her tweet:
Oh and every actor isn’t a huge superstar .. so those who are whining on about that can keep shut. Stop watching content na then. It is made with great risk to the concerned actors lives. Being at the top of ones profession can’t be a disqualification for a vaccine. Jeez. https://t.co/sjaCwadfu6

It all started with Suhel Seth, who expressed his concerns regarding the priority order that had been put in place by the Indian government, which dictates as to the professionals of which sector should be the first ones to receive the coveted COVID-19 vaccine. Seth’s tweet met with a response from Soni Razdan’s Twitter handle.
Soni was replying to Suhel Seth’s tweet on allowing everyone to get vaccines. “FOR GOD’S SAKE, OPEN VACCINATION FOR ALL. WHOEVER WANTS IT SHOULD GET IT! WHO IS THE GOVERNMENT TO PRIORITISE WHICH PROFESSIONS ARE MORE VALUABLE THAN OTHERS? THESE ARE INDIAN LIVES WE ARE TALKING ABOUT,” he had written.
