St. Patrick’s Day Slam on Wednesday was headlined by an Unsanctioned Lights Out match between Thunder Rosa and Dr. Britt Baker DMD. This week’s edition of All Elite Wrestling was a night of many firsts. The AEW Dynamite was headlined by two women for the first time. The bout featured rivalry between both women superstars as they battled in the main event slot of the show. AEW Women’s Division’s first Unsanctioned Lights Out Match is widely accepted as the company’s most violent stipulation.
Talking about Rosa’s clash with Baker, the two pulled out all the stops to deliver a tremendous match. The match saw both wrestlers, especially Baker getting busted open. The pair was a bloody mess by the time Rosa pushed Baker through a table, hitting a thunder driver off the apron to score the win. Rosa soon recovered by tossing chairs at Baker’s face before sending her over the guardrail. The duo knocked each other out of the park, battering with ladders, piles of thumbtacks, among other things. They kept going at each other despite their criticality and put up one of the greatest matches in the history of AEW. Finally, Rosa broke free from Baker’s Lock Jaw, where she put her heel across a table with a Fire Thunder to achieve the victory.

Ahead of the bout, Rosa spoke to Sportskeeda in an interview and sent a heated message to Baker. “Anything that has to do with her and I being in the spotlight has to do with her. I call her the princess of AEW, and when you see another dog come into your yard, you gotta defend it.”
After victory, an emotional Rosa spoke on the AEW Dynamite Post-Show. She said, “Thank you everybody for believing in me and the Thunder Army.”
