TIM to bring FTTH to Como, Tivoli, Chioggia and other cities via FiberCop unit

Telecom Italia (TIM) has several more cities to the rollout plans of its FiberCop co-investment venture, pledging to bring FTTH at speeds of 1 Gbps, up from the current maximum of 200 Mbps offered by its FTTC service. The cities include Como, where it will be investing EUR 10 million to connect 29,000 premises, Cuneo (EUR 7 million for 20,000 premises), Tivoli (EUR 7 million for 16,500 premises), San Dona di Piave (EUR 4.7 million for 13,200 premises), Peschiera Borromea (EUR 2 million for 7,000 premises), Nola (EUR 3.2 million for around 10,000 premises), Chioggia (EUR 5.5 million for 15,500
