After an FIR was filed against actress Gauahar Khan for flouting COVID-19 norms, the actress has been refuting the claims made by BMC officials through her cryptic posts on social media. While earlier in her Instagram story, she wrote, 'The Truth shall always prevail', now she posted a photo of her late dad from his younger days and shared that she is missing him terribly. She wrote, 'I miss you, Papa! But u are in a better place than this slanderous world. May Allah keep u in love n truth'. Talking about the FIR filed against the actress, it was reported that Gauahar Khan continued to shoot despite testing positive for COVID-19. A BMC official stated that when their staff reached her house, they were informed by her husband that she is not at home and in a flat in the adjacent wing. Khan was then asked to move into institutional quarantine from home quarantine. On March 15, the BMC tweeted about a Bollywood actress not following their orders despite testing positive for COVID-19. However, Gauahar denied their claims. Even the press note issued by her team stated that Gauahar is a law-abiding citizen and complying with the BMC. It was also requested that speculations around her violating the rules be stopped by the media as she is still in mourning. A BMC official told ETimes recently that Gauahar will have to stay in quarantine till March 24 at least. He said, 'On the 13th or 14th day, she will be made to undergo an RT-PCR test, and only if that is negative, she can walk out free.' After the news went viral, many came out in support of the actress and started the trend #StayStrongGauahar on social media. One user wrote, 'You have inspired thousands of ppl and you're the one who taught us 'Burai ko acchai se maaro'. We are always with you. You're an angel for us'. While, another one said, 'You're telling me @GAUAHAR_KHAN, the most rule-abiding person ever. Who didn't even break a single rule in the house of BiggBoss is irresponsibly going for a shooting despite being covid positive? These claims are absurd. Truth shall prevail. Acknowledging all the love and support that she has been receiving, an elated Gauahar wrote, 'Your belief in me and your love for me inspires me to do better. I love you all #myCrazylot!
