Actor Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda has been very active on social media, raising her voice about gender equality and human rights. Recently, she slammed the Uttarakhand CM on ‘ripped jeans’ statement.

Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda has expressed her disappointment with Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat’s comment on ripped jeans.
While speaking at a workshop in Dehradun the CM stated, “Showing bare knees by wearing ripped jeans just to look like wealthy youngsters is the worth provided now which is just a race towards westernisation when the Western globe today is following us. Ripped jeans pave the way for societal breakdown and is a undesirable instance parent set for youngsters.”
The comment caught Navya’s attention and she took to her Instagram Stories to share her reaction. She shared a screenshot of one of his statements and said, “Wtf” before adding, “Change your mentality before changing our clothes 🙂 because the only thing shocking here is the message comments like this send to society. Just (angry emojis).
She also went on to share a picture of her where she is seen wearing ripped jeans and wrote, ‘I’ll wear my ripped jeans. Thank you. And I’ll wear them proudly :).”

On the work front, Navya recently confirmed that she has no interest entering the showbiz. The young lady also added that she is joining her father in their family business.
