Universal Music Group and Boomplay expand licence to cover 47 countries

African music streaming and download platform Boomplay and Universal Music Group (UMG) have announced an agreement to extend licensing of UMG's global music catalogue from seven to 47 countries on the continent. This will benefit African musicians and talent and improve listening for the Boomplay audience.
