The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have started training for the upcoming Indian Premier League 2021 (IPL 2021) season, starting April 9. Skipper MS Dhoni along with the rest of the squad have been grinding at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.The three-time champions returned to the nets after the players and rest of the staff in the contingent cleared their RT-PCR tests during the mandatory quarantine period. India is set to host the 14th edition of the cash-rich league from April onwards. Captain Cool will try to plot a comeback for the yellow army from the nadir.

Wishing fans a good morning, the post was captioned, “To start well is great and to finish strong is epic! Super Morning Lions!! #WhistlePodu #Yellove”

Another post shared by CSK Twitter gave a sneak peek of all the live action.

MS Dhoni is not only considered one of the quickest men behind the stumps, he is widely regarded as one of the most revered sportspersons in the world. In a picture shared online, we get to see the former international’s masterclass. Not just fans, his teammates are evidently seen in awe of the cricket great.

CSK will have Suresh Raina aka Chinna Thala donning the yellow jersey in the forthcoming edition. He opted out from the season, last year citing personal reasons. The former international is yet to join his fellow teammates in the nets. He was slated to join the training camp on March 15 but will be available only after March 24.
