The Xbox Series X Pulse Red controller finally has an India release date. According to a listing spotted on specialist retailer Games The Shop, you can expect the Xbox Series X Pulse Red controller by March 31. Safe to say other stores should have it listed soon enough. As IGN India reported earlier, the price of the Pulse Red controller is Rs. 5,890. This is at a premium over black and white controllers that are Rs. 5,390.
Microsoft stated to IGN India that “different SKUs [stock keeping units in retail parlance] have different prices” as the reason for this price difference.
The wireless Pulse Red controller features all the bells and whistles you would expect from an Xbox Series X|S controller, including a USB-C port, and in some markets like India, a 14-day trial for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
With Microsoft being remarkably consistent with its Xbox Series X and S restocks as well as the 1TB expansion card making it to the market, it's heartening to see that India gets the new controller variant. Perhaps it could mean we see the recently released Xbox Wireless Headset get an India release too? Regardless it appears that Xbox Series X|S fans have something to look forward to in addition to the company's big moves with FPS Boost and Game Pass.
