COVID-19 in Mumbai: Necessary to impose night curfew, says Mayor Kishori Pednekar
Maharashtra accounts the maximum share in the total COVID caseload of the country. Mumbai alone reported 2377 infections on March 17. In wake of the rising COVID-19 cases in Maharashtra, Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar said that it is necessary to impose a night curfew. On complete lockdown, Kishori Pednekar said that it will cause problems to the public. Government had announced week-long lockdown in Nagpur in view of spike in daily infections.
