Andhra Pradesh’s Energy Investment Bazaar held in Visakhapatnam

The Andhra Pradesh government has strongly committed to bring rapid change in energy sector by encouraging energy efficiency investments, said A Chandrasekhara Reddy, CEO, AP State Energy Conservation Mission (APSECM).
Addressing an Investment Bazaar for the Southern region organized by APSECM at Visakhapatnam on Thursday, with the support and co-ordination of Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power, to promote investments in industrial energy efficiency, Reddy said that there is huge opportunity for everyone to invest in energy efficiency projects in the state.
Reddy invited investors and several other stakeholders to visit Andhra Pradesh, understand the potential the state offers and grow together.
As per an estimate, around 4500 MU energy is saved worth of Rs.3000 crore monetary savings through energy efficiency measures implemented in domestic, industrial, commercial, agricultural sectors.
The State government is considering energy efficiency as a powerful tool to increase energy security and most cost-effective solution to meet escalating energy demand in future and sustainable of energy sector.
Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been fully supporting for strengthening the power sector and providing 24×7 highly reliable power to industries among others.
