Hyderabad: The Telangana Incubator for Female Entrepreneurs, WE Hub, announced on Thursday that it needs to partner with Bolton University, one of the UK’s largest educational institutions, to expand its new businesses in the UK. The two-year partnership will enable the expansion of the women entrepreneurs of WE HUB across the UK market. It will also open communication with relevant ecosystem players for both parties for future cooperation.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was tinted between Deepthi Ravula, CEO of WE Hub, and Kondal Reddy Kandadi, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, University of Bolton, in the presence of Shri K. Taraka Rama Rao, Minister of MA & UD , Government of Telangana and Lord Tariq Ahmad of Wimbledon, Minister of State of the United Kingdom for the Commonwealth, United Nations and South Asia, Thursday. Lord Tariq Ahmad also interacted with selected startups at WE Hub.
Ravula said: ‘Through this partnership we want to create a roadmap of how women’s entrepreneurship can be scaled across countries and give it access to entrepreneurs to expand into international markets and exploit resources with dedicated support from Bolton University in the UK and WE Hub in India. ”
The selected companies will have access to evaluate the business growth opportunities, market understanding and access to customers in the UK. They will also benefit from both ecosystems enabling them to rapidly globalize their innovations. The partnership will also focus on industry development through policy interventions to encourage and support women entrepreneurs and business leaders.
