Zimbabwean mobile phone revenues grow 38% in Q4

Zimbabwe's total mobile operator revenues grew by 37.5 percent to ZWK 12.3 billion in the fourth quarter of 2020 from ZWD 8.94 billion in the third to 30 September, said the Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (Potraz). Its latest report says the revenue contribution of the internet and data recorded the biggest growth of 3.4 percent.  Capital expenditure by mobile operators was ZWD 74.79 billion, up from ZWD 9.78 billion invested in Q3.
