UST, Hysea and Nirmaan establish digital laboratory in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: UST, a provider of digital transformation solutions, has partnered with Hysea and Nirmaan Organization to set up a digital laboratory at a service center for women and children welfare in Ameerpet in Hyderabad. The initiative was in support of the Disruptive Digital Intervention (DDI) program by Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association with the Nirmaan Organization as the knowledge and implementation partner.

With the mission of bridging the digital divide between students at government and private schools, the new program is committed to making a difference in the lives of young girls experiencing problems such as gender inequality, discrimination, oppression, violence , and inhuman values ​​at a very tender age.

The lab is well-equipped with desktops, furniture, power supplies, computer accessories, high-speed broadband Internet connection, a projector room with digital resources and an IT teacher. This lab will help about 300 maid students studying political technology to learn the basics of computers.

“We feel humbled to be associated with Hysea, the Nirmaan organization, and the Department of Women and Child Welfare to spread digital literacy and empower young girls,” said Harilal Neelakantan, head of the UST Hyderabad Center.

Bharani K Aroll, President of HYSEA, said during the inauguration: ‘The DDI initiative was launched in 2017 and has become successful due to the support of our member companies such as UST. Today, the program reaches more than 13,500 students from public schools. Our goal is to reach more than 50,000 students through the program. ”
