The internet has a strange way of coming together to help small ventures flourish and get recognised. Following the saga of Baba Ka Dhaba, many small eateries have been going viral on social media where netizens often come together to help these underprivileged groups earn their living in a pandemic-hit situation. In another such recent incident, a Twitter user has highlighted the story of a ‘Litti-Chokha’ seller in Mumbai and his struggles to keep up his business. Taking to social media he has urged netizens to come forward and help him get listed on Zomato and other food delivery apps.
Priyanshu Dwibedi took to the microblogging site to introduce Yogesh, who sells litti-choka near Varsova Beach opposite the graveyard. He is trying to sell them on Zomato, but unable to do due to a lack of tech knowledge. He has been reeling under a financial crisis and facing a “tough time”.
“This guy is Yogesh. He is selling the best Litti-Chokha in the town (Near Versova beach, Mumbai) and Just for 20 rupees per plate (Which includes, 2 littis dipped into butter, delicious chokha, chatni and salad). He is trying to sell his delicious litti on

Taking to a subsequent tweet he said, “He is planning to shut his shop. I request @zomato and @deepigoyal to help him out with their platform. I guarantee ‘Itni badhiya litti kahi nahin milegi.”
The shop opens every day at 2:30 pm.

No sooner had Priyanshu revealed the tough time faced by Yogesh on social media netizens came forward to offer help to the young man. People immediately started asking the exact location of Yogesh’s stall and many even said they are going to visit him soon, to help him keep his food business.

However taking cognisance of the matter, Zomato too got back on time and asked Priyanshu to share the contact details of Yogesh. “Hi Priyanshu, sorry for the delay in response. The food delivery app Zomato has come under a lot of discussions after a video of a woman in Bengaluru left the country shocked recently.
