I am a massive fan of his 2010-2015ish run. After that he started changing his style quite a bit, which isn't a bad thing, but the music didn't resonate with me like it did before. it's also partly a nostalgia thing I think. when Take Care came out I had just turned 19 and was entering my little club rat phase, so I associate that album with those years. Good times boyo. He still randomly drops top tier songs though that are reminiscent of his older style, for example Chicago Freestyle. Dude is smart and knows how to market himself and make good music that's for sure.
