    NSE-BSE Bulk deals: Carlyle sells 4.25% stake in SBI Cards and Payment

    Synopsis

    Prior to the stake sale, Carlyle held 15.86 per cent stake in the credit card company promoter by State Bank of India.

    Coeus Global Opportunities Fund bought 244,000 shares of Mitcon Consultancy & Engineering Services at Rs 40.85 apiece
    MUMBAI: CA Rover Holdings, a company owned by private equity firm Carlyle, sold 40 million shares or 4.25 per cent stake in SBI Cards and Payment Services at Rs 985.98 apiece through a bulk deal on the BSE.

    Prior to the stake sale, Carlyle held 15.86 per cent stake in the credit card company promoter by State Bank of India.

    Shares of SBI Cards ended 4.4 per cent lower at Rs. 976.75 on the BSE.

    In another transaction, Coeus Global Opportunities Fund bought 244,000 shares of Mitcon Consultancy & Engineering Services at Rs 40.85 apiece through a bulk deal on the National Stock Exchange.
