LUCKNOW: Marking party’s Dalit outreach in the run up to panchayat elections, UP BJP chief Swatantra Dev Singh had lunch with a booth-level party functionary Sunil Kori, a Dalit, in Behrampur village of Sultanpur district on Tuesday.
Singh also paid tributes at the statues of Gautam Buddha and Dalit icon BR Ambedkar in the village.
Addressing the gram chaupal, Singh lashed out at Congress, SP and BSP accusing them of following nepotism.
He said it is only BJP where a worker climbs up the organisational ladder to reach a respectable position.
He hailed PM Narendra Modi and CM Yogi Adityanath as ‘Vikas Purush’ who have been cracking down on corruption and have come up with policies benefiting people.
