J&K UT Lt Gov condole demise of MP Sharma, ex minister Dilip Gandhi

Srinagar, Mar 17 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory (UT) Lt Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday expressed shock over the demise of BJP MP Ram Swaroop Sharma and ex-MP and minister Dilip Gandhi.
Sharma, MP from Himachal Pradesh (HP) was found dead at his Delhi flat this morning.
In a Tweet on official Twitter profile of The Office of Lt. Governor of J&K, Mr Sinha said “ Deeply shocked and saddened by the untimely demise of Member Parliament, Sh. Ram Swaroop Sharma Ji. He was passionate about empowering the poor and marginalized sections of society. May God give strength to the family to bear the loss and peace to the departed soul”.

Former MP and ex-Union minister Dilip Gandhi died of COVID-19 in a Delhi hospital early this morning.
Mr Sinha said, “Sad to learn about the demise of former MP and Minister Sh. Dilip Gandhi ji. He was a distinguished personality who made immense contribution towards welfare of farmers & other weaker sections of the society. My heartfelt condolences to his family members in this difficult time”.
