Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda might not be a part of showbiz but she is quite active on social media where she commands a huge fan following. Now, the starkid expressed her displeasure with Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat's comment on ripped jeans. The chief minister, while attending a workshop organised in Dehradun, expressed his thoughts over women wearing ripped jeans and said they cannot provide the right environment for children at home. Reacting to the same, the actress wrote on her Instagram stories, 'Change your mentality before changing our clothes, because the only thing shocking here is the message comments like this send to society. Just' In another IG story, Navya shared a picture of hers wearing ripped jeans and wrote, 'I'll wear my ripped jeans. Thank you. And I'll wear them proudly.' Well, Navya is known for her befitting replies to trolls and her strong opinions on various issues. Earlier, she gave an apt reply to a troll who implied that her mother Shweta Bachchan did not have a job. Navya replied to the troll and wrote, "@tarakaursingh2 She's an author, writer, designer, wife & mother :)" She also expressed in a note that being a mom is a full-time job and one must not discredit these women. She wrote, 'Being a mother & wife is a full-time job. Please don't discredit women who are homemakers! Their role is so crucial in the upbringing of a generation that will hopefully support their contribution instead of tearing it down.' Well, recently, Navya Naveli Nanda took to her Instagram handle to share an endearing family photo as she wished her parents on their birthday. In the photo, Navya along with brother Agastya Nanda and parents Shweta and Nikhil Nanda is seen striking a pose for the camera with a birthday cake in front of them. On the work front, Navya Naveli Nanda has recently launched a new initiative towards women empowerment in India known as Project Naveli.
