BBC proposes fines for TV makers failing to give PSBs prominence

The BBC has proposed a fine of up to GBP 250,000 for smart TV manufacturers that fail to give PSB services, such as BBC iPlayer, prominence on their home screens, reports The Telegraph. This fine of GBP 250,000, or 5 percent of revenue, is in line with existing rules for on-demand programme service providers.
