Godown destroyed in fire in Thane

Thane, Mar 16 (UNI) A godown of a sweetmeat factory was completely destroyed in a major fire that broke out at Rabale area of the city on Tuesday.
The fire broke out at the godown of farsan (savoury) maker in evening at around 1815 hours, sources in the Fire Brigade said.
Two fire engines rushed to the spot and put out the blaze after about an hour.
No one was injured in this incident.
The cause of fire is still being probed, sources added.
