Manoj Bajpayee reveals he got ‘infected because someone else was not following the rule’
“I got infected because someone was not following covid norms on set,” says Manoj Bajpayee on getting tested positive for COVID-19.
Manoj Bajpayee whose been recently diagnosed with COVID-19 says he was infected after his director was diagnosed with COVID-19 on sets. He then immediately went under home quarantine and took the necessary precautions.
He praised the production house for following all the protocols by the government otherwise the film could not be completed.
Due to this, the actor was unable to physically attend the recent trailer launch of his upcoming web film and therefore made a virtual appearance. During the media interaction, the actor opened up on being tested positive for coronavirus while revealing that he got infected because someone was not following the rule.
He further spoke about filming amid the pandemic and said, “There are no issues if COVID-19 protocols are followed. The production house made sure that everyone followed the COVID-19 protocol. There is a limitation with the new normal but we have to get used to it. We could complete the film only because we followed the protocol. Of course, it takes time to adjust. Sanitisers and masks have become part of our life. B.”
