After the completion of the T20I series, the two sides will travel to Pune to face each other in the ODI series behind closed doors. However, according to reports Prasidh Krishna and Krunal Pandya could be included in the list.

The Karnataka pacer is likely to get his maiden call-up for the upcoming series following his 14-wicket exploit in the recently-concluded Vijay Hazare Trophy.

He will pair up with the likes of Mohammed Siraj, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, T Natarajan, Navdeep Saini and Shardul Thakur. Jasprit Bumrah, who announced his marriage on Monday, would be missing out after being on an extended leave.

As for Krunal Pandya, the Baroda all-rounder is yet to make his ODI debut, and could finally get his chance to join the 18-member squad for the 50-over series Cricbuzz reported.

He too had a good run in the recently-concluded Vijay Hazare Trophy, where he scored two unbeaten centuries and two half-centuries.

However, amid all this - top performers of the tournament - Mumbai's Prithvi Shaw and Karnataka's Devdutt Padikkal - are likely to be overlooked.

The selectors are believed to go ahead with the likes of KL Rahul, Shubman Gill, Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma. Unless there is a last-minute change, all four are certain to find a place in the squad for the three games to be played from March, 23, 26 and 28.

Meanwhile, Ravindra Jadeja - who has resumed training - will continue to remain on the sidelines for a little more time, due to fitness issues.
