Thread: Ex girlfriend passed away and I can’t sleep

It was a ex from years ago, I’m married now but this girl was so beautiful and nice. Found out yesterday she passed away at 31 last week. She’s a mother to 3 kids now 2,3 &9 years old and is married. Her husband is 31 and now a widow to 3 kids. She died in her sleep while taking her oldest son on a mommy/son date night and fell asleep watching a movie with him but never to wake up.

This one hits me hard, my father passed away in his sleep three years ago and now this. I slept for about an hour last night cause I just kept thinking about her and her family and how I could die at any moment in my sleep on any night. Peaceful way to go but not at 31 years old ffs. I’d rather know it’s coming. Obviously no pics and obviously no covid jokes, just had to get this out there. So sad.

She had the first kid before I first dated her, just to nip those jokes in the butt. And finally, not one person has posted on FB or IG about her passing which in a way is a very very empty feeling for myself. We have around 60 mutual FB friends and there’s nothing posted about her.

Idk if she had posts where she’d have to approve them or what. Her bday was a few months ago and those are the last posts on her page and around 70 of them

Not my loss anymore, never even met her current husband but just a chit thing. I’m Christian but when something like this happens, it makes me question my faith.

She was young and fit also, that’s what’s most scary about it all. Also that my own father died in his sleep, makes me think it can happen any night to me now

You should look at the positive side of it. She most likely lived a good life. She had a wonderful family, several kids and a husband. There isn't much more a person could ask for than that.

She probably had her facebook set up so that posts needed her approval before they would show up.

Sucks bro wonder if xanax and ambien and or vodka were involved.

No clue tbh and really no way for me to find out. She wasn’t a leftist when I dated her and all through highschool so I doubt she rushed out to get it. So I’d guess she didn’t have it. Also she wasn’t in health care or anything government wise so doubt her job made her get it.

I had an ex girlfriend pass away a month or so ago. I dated her when I was 21, she was 18. She was one of the kindest, sweetest people I have ever met in my life. We kept in touch here and there through the years, she was one of the first people to call me when my mother died 3 years ago. She ended up getting diagnosed with breast cancer a few months after being married, she beat it, but it came back and attacked her whole body.

It was a really tragedy, she was only 31 and a beautiful person all around. It sucks seeing good people die young.

Terrifying your Ex just died in her sleep. I wonder if you'll ever find out cause of death.
