NBA MVP: Against the New York Knicks on Monday (ET), James Harden was breaking records again with his all-round contribution. En route to recording the first 20-15-15 triple-double in franchise history, Harden helped the Nets survive the Knicks’ furious comeback by scoring or assisting on 10 of their last 14 points.
James Harden’s Brooklyn Nets career is just 26 games old.
However, in the short stint, he’s already been breaking and setting new franchise records, leading the team to victories by taking over ‘clutch games‘.

NBA MVP: More importantly, his play has been the key to the team finishing with wins. Since they acquired him, Brooklyn is 20-7 – the second-best record in the league in that span.
This victory over the neighboring Knicks is the Nets’ fifth straight and 13th in their last 14, helping them to remain within a half-game of the East-leading Philadelphia 76ers.
NBA MVP: A lot of these positive results are courtesy of Harden’s performance in clutch situations. For the season, since landing in Brooklyn, Harden is among the top-five clutch scorers in the league.
