BJP MLA Madan Dilawar suspended from Rajasthan Assembly for 7 days

Jaipur, Mar 16 (UNI) BJP MLA Madan Dilawar was on Tuesday suspended from the Rajasthan Assembly for seven days post uproar in the House when his party demanded a debate over alleged phone tapping by the Congress government.

The opposition BJP members were sloganeering and creating ruckus in the well of the House.

Dilawar interrupted Independent MLA Sanyam Lodha who was speaking on demands for grants for education, art and culture, following which Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shanti Dhariwal brought a proposal to suspend the former (Dilawar).

The proposal was passed by a voice vote, post which Speaker C P Joshi suspended the lawmaker for seven days.

Hamirpur (HP), Mar 16 (UNI) Though more than twenty-five thousand pilgrims paid their obeisance to the Baba Balak Nath at his Deotsidh temple in Hamirpur district on Sunday yet the number of the pilgrims came down to just one thousand due to the sudden eruption of the COVID-19 cases in various parts of the Punjab from where the majority pilgrims visit the temple in the Chaitra month.
