Motorola is reportedly gearing up to launch a new smartphone soon. A few days back, Motorola shared a teaser, hinting at a new phone launch. It was speculated that the phone that Motorola has teased is none other than the much-rumored Motorola G100. And, today we might be seeing this upcoming phone in all its glory, thanks to TechnikNews.

The phone has been leaked a couple of times before but this is the first time we are seeing its leaked renders. As speculated earlier, the Motorola G100 appears to be the rebranded Moto Edge S as it shares the same look like the latter.

There is a flat display with a significant bottom bezel. On the front, the phone carries two cameras, which are housed inside two separate hole punches on the screen. On the back, the alleged Motorola G100 has four cameras, where the primary sensor is 64MP. All these four cameras are housed inside a square module and the LED flash also sits inside this module.

It is rumored that the Moto G100 is going to have a 6.7-inch FHD+ 90Hz LCD display. The device has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a volume rocker that sits on the right while the left side carries Google Assistant dedicated button and a SIM tray.

In its teaser, Motorola had already confirmed the upcoming phone is going to be powered by Snapdragon 870 processor. So, this one key information is being highly suggestive in conveying to us that Moto G100 could indeed be a rebranded Moto Edge S.

The tech blog TechnikNews that has shared these renders also reported that the Moto G100 will come in white and blue color options. Furthermore, it is reported the phone is going to have up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It may run Android 11 out of the box with Motorola’s My UX on the top.

It is currently unknown when Motorola will launch the Moto G100 and at what price.
