'Let them gossip about you...,' Sushmita Sen's daughter Renee advises how to deal with trolls

Former beauty queen and actor Sushmita Sen's daughter, Renee took to Instagram Stories on Tuesday and shared a long quote about how one can deal with online haters or trolls. 

The quote by Scott Scabile read, "Let them judge you. Let them misunderstand you. Let them gossip about you. Their opinions aren't your problem. You stay kind, committed to love and free in your authenticity. No matter what they do or say, don't you dare doubt your worth or the beauty of truth. Just keep on shining like you do."

Renee is quite active on social media and often takes to the medium to share updates and post photos with her family and friends besides some BTS images on projects she is working on. 

For the unversed, Renee made her acting debut with the short film 'Suttabaazi'. It was released a few months after Sushmita made her acting comeback with the series 'Aarya'. 

A super confident individual, Renne had said in an earlier interview that she is well aware of the privileges that come with being the daughter of Sushmita Sen. 

"I can only stay focused if I am grounded. My mother reminds me to stay grounded, to keep my head on my shoulders, and work hard. To me, Sushmita Sen is my mother and I am aware of the privileges. I am very blessed that I am her daughter but at the end of the day, she is my maa. I, along with my sister, am being raised to be strong and to have an identity of my own. She is teaching us the values she wants us to have, and I feel like I am learning from the best but, most importantly, she is my maa and I love her the most," she said. 

In addition to this, Renee also spoke about how it feels to be the daughter of a woman who inspires millions around the world.

"My mother being a role model to so many women is something I take pride in. I am very proud of my maa. It will only and always have a positive effect on me because I have got so much love. I really hope I earn the love and respect that she has with the work I do, and during my journey and the person I become through all of this. I try to learn from her. I am so lucky that I am her daughter. I would not have it any other way," Renee said.

Renee was adopted by Sushmita in 2000. She has a sister, Alisah.
