World praising Ayush Ministry's efforts in boosting immunity during COVID-19 period: Kiren Rijiju

New Delhi, Mar 16 (UNI) Sports and Ayush Minister Kiren Rijiju on Tuesday told the Rajya Sabha said that entire world has praised the Ayush Ministry's efforts in boosting immunity of the people during COVID-19 period.

Responding to a query during ‘Question Hour’ he said, “In our country, Ayurved treatment is not new, surgery is a part of it, has been going on since centuries. The process of surgery to be done by Ayurvedic doctors has been clearly defined in a notification”.

Mr Rijiju also said that the traditional medicine system under Ayurveda has well defined, the surgery process has been well proven, will work in tandem with the Health Ministry.
