Further, the former baseball pro was spotted at the Coral Gables, Florida location of his exercise workshop 54D, when he told photographers "I'm not single" in footage obtained by TMZ.
Now, it seems A-Rod has flown to the Dominican Republic where JLo is filming her new movie, Shotgun Wedding. A source tells E! News things have been "difficult" for the pair who have had to spend some time apart because of their schedules. "They haven't had a situation come up like this and it's been hard on the relationship."
On Monday, however, the 45-year-old took to his Instagram Stories sharing a video of a beautiful sunset in the Dominican Republic. "Happy Monday. New week. New day. Onward. Upward," he captioned it, tagging the singer in the clip.
"They are trying to figure things out. He absolutely does not want to split up and has made many promises to try and keep her," the insider tells E!.
"He flew out to be with her and to prove to her how serious he is. They don't know what's going to happen. Untangling their lives, business dealings and families would be devastating to everyone involved."
As for JLo, the source added that she's focussed on filming "before they figure out the next steps". "She wants to give him a chance to make it right and really does love him."
