Oman blocks access to Clubhouse

The Oman Telecommunications Regulator Authority said access to the new audio chat app Clubhouse has been cut off, The Associated Press reported. Omar al-Abri, an official at the TRA, told AP that the government has forbidden the app because it was operating without a proper licence. He did not elaborate on the licensing problem and it is unclear whether the ban is a temporary suspension.
