Former India all-rounder, Yuvraj Singh recently led India Legends to the semi-finals of the ongoing Road Safety World Series 2021. Ahead of the next fixture in the tournament, Yuvraj decided to play a round of golf. The cricketer’s penchant for golf is a well-known fact and he has been spotted taking to the golf course with former teammates. Taking to his social media handle on Monday, Yuvraj gave a glimpse of his latest golf session in Raipur, where the ongoing Road Safety World Series is underway.
The legend, who was seen showcasing his skills in his off-cricket outing, paid a rich tribute to one of the greatest golfers of all time, Tiger Woods. The two-time World Cup winner donned a red shirt during his golfing day.
The legendary athlete Woods was hospitalised last month after a fatal car-crash in Los Angeles. He sustained serious injuries in the horrific car crash. However, his life was saved by the firefighters and paramedics, who reached the spot on time. In the aftermath of the tragic accident involving the ace golfer, a host of the golfer’s former colleagues paid tribute to him by wearing his signature red and black outfit. The 15-time major champion is known for donning red shirts and black trousers on Sundays.
Back in January, Yuvraj went golfing with former India teammate Ashish Nehra. The former middle-order was seen posing with the left-arm seamer, both dressed in golf kits. In his caption, Yuvraj gave a special mention to Woods and Phil Mickelson.
Talking about his stint in the Road Safety World Series 2020-21, Yuvraj hit four consecutive sixes in an over during the match against South Africa Legends on Saturday. The Sachin Tendulkar led India Legends will play the finalsat the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium on March 17, Wednesday.
