BoFinNet data centre worth BWP 100 mln due to open in December

A data centre worth BWP 100 million is currently under construction with a view to making Botswana a high-ranking business partner for the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and globally, BOPA reported.  Minister of Transport and Communications Thulagano Segokgo said the project, undertaken by Botswana Fibre Networks (BoFiNet), would be built inside the Science and Technology Park. The facility would set Botswana on a path to high connectivity and economic growth, he said.
