The nominees for the 93rd Academy Awards were announced in Los Angeles on Monday. The announcement was co-hosted by Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas.

The Father, Judas and the Black Messiah, Minari, Nomadland, Sound of Metal and The Trial of the Chicago 7 tied for second place with six nominations each.
South African film My Octopus Teacherdirected by Pippa Ehrlich and James Reed bagged a nomination in the Documentary Feature category.
The ceremony will be held on 25 April
